Trips and activities

BURT sometimes organises activities and outings – such as our popular garden centre and shopping trips. If you are interested in these, or have other ideas about things we could put on, email or phone 01527 585893.

If you’re looking for other things to do, you could also try some of these organisations that we work closely with, and if we have availability we could also help get you there.

Denise and her team team of volunteers run day clubs for senior citizens. These are held at Lickey End Social Club every Tuesday and Thursday from 10.00am – 3.00pm. The clubs include tea, coffee and biscuits with lots of chat, followed by entertainment such as a band, singers, speakers and much more. They then have a nutritious home-cooked lunch and dessert. You can phone Denise on 07947 675186 or go to the Facebook group for more information.
